Join the ring

Submit your blog for review. Joining is a multi-step process: applying does not add your blog to the ring by itself.

Important: filling out this form is only the first step. Your blog is not added to the ring automatically when you apply.

How joining works

  1. Apply: submit your blog here for review.
  2. Get approved: if your blog is accepted, add the ring links to a public page on your site using the setup guide, platform guides, or snippet gallery.
  3. Get verified: rootring checks that the ring links are actually present.
  4. Get activated: once verification passes, your blog can be activated in the ring.

In most cases, the ring links live on your homepage. If they live on a separate public page, enter that page below as your Ring page URL.

Your main blog URL. In most cases, this is also the page rootring will use for navigation and verification.

This is required so the admin can reach you if there is a question about your application, feed, verification, or setup. It will never be shown publicly. Discord, Bluesky, Mastodon, or email are all fine.

If left blank, it can often be detected later.

Only use this if your ring links live on a separate public page. If provided, verification will check that page instead of your homepage.

Optional old-web badge. Must be exactly 88x31 pixels. PNG, GIF, or JPEG only.

Submitting this form sends your blog for review. It does not immediately add your blog to the ring. After approval, use the setup guide, platform guides, or snippet gallery to add your ring links.
